6 nights and 7 days Pokhara, Ghandruk trek.
While Kathmandu offers the medieval monuments and historical palaces along with the chaotic bustles, Pokhara stoops more towards the nature side of life. Spreading virtually in the lap of the Western Himalayan range, this city is located 200KM west of Kathmandu. In this picturesque town, life slows down and everything takes on an easier pace. Mule trains pass through the center of town, just as they have for centuries, ferrying food and other goods to remote Himalayan villages and across the border to Tibet even as modern tow person ultra light aircraft buzz overhead and Para gliders ride the massive thermals even higher, as if to challenge the very mountains that dominate the northern horizon. A morning drive to Sarankot to view the glorious sunrise and the giants of the Western Himalayan range will be a treat while the Phewa Lake offers a splendid view of the Macchapucchare peak. A mid morning flight back to Kathmandu allows for additional sightseeing or leisure time for shopping in Kathmandu’s famous bazaars before heading back home.

World Peace Pagoda is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. It has four of Buddha facing in four directions. It is a great vantage which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna.
Evening can be spent on a boating session around the Phewa Lake which lends the opportunity to visit the Bindabasini Temple. It is the centre of religious activity in the old bazaar area.
